On October 27th, Medford Fire Department (MFD) crews were dispatched to a residence on the 900 block of Beall Lane, responding to reports of a working structure fire. The incident, which unfolded at the rear of the property, had spread into the attic and the interior of the home.
Firefighters, along with the collaborative efforts of Jackson County Fire District 3 (JCFD3) units, managed to bring the blaze under control quickly.
The home was in the midst of a renovation project, and fortunately, the occupants were away at the time of the incident. According to MFD officials, injuries were reported.


The fire, which appeared to have originated at the rear of the structure, escalated quickly, causing damage to both the attic and the interior. An investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the fire.
As the investigation unfolds, the community is reminded of the importance of fire safety measures and precautions.
