MEDFORD, Ore. (Apr. 2, 2026) — A juvenile girl was arrested Wednesday evening following a stabbing that left another juvenile seriously injured in Medford, police said.

Officers with the Medford Police Department responded at about 5:20 p.m. to a report of an assault in the 200 block of North Ivy Street. An investigation determined that two juvenile females were involved in a physical altercation in the roadway.

During the fight, one of the juveniles produced a knife and stabbed the other, authorities said.

Police located the victim, who had sustained multiple stab wounds. The injuries were described as serious but not life-threatening.

Investigators later identified the suspect, who was taken into custody and charged with first-degree assault.
