Eagle Point, Oregon– In a recent surge of criminal activities between November 28 and December 6, 2023, the Eagle Point Police Department (EPPD) has successfully addressed a series of thefts and burglaries plaguing the Arrowhead Trail and Robert Trent Jones Trail areas. After responding to multiple reports, officers initiated investigations and heightened patrols in the affected vicinity.
On December 5, an EPPD officer identified a known wanted individual, Adam Guenther, in the Arrowhead Trail area. Guenther, attempting to elude contact, was apprehended with the assistance of additional officers. Guenther was sought for three warrants related to probation violations stemming from original charges of burglary and two counts of theft.
Subsequent investigation at the scene unveiled evidence linking Guenther to thefts from vehicles, and he was positively associated with a nearby residential burglary. Recovered stolen property implicated Guenther in multiple outstanding cases, leading to his detainment on existing warrants and the imposition of additional charges.
Investigators anticipate additional charges as officers examine recovered items and endeavor to identify additional victims. Numerous stolen items have been reclaimed and returned to their rightful owners.
Eagle Point Police Department emphasizes community awareness, urging residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities. Residents are also reminded to secure their vehicles by removing valuables and ensuring nothing of value is visible from the outside, particularly during the holiday season when thefts tend to escalate.
Adam Guenther, 23, an Eagle Point resident, currently resides in Jackson County Jail, facing a litany of charges including three probation violation warrants, unlawful entry into a motor vehicle (x2), burglary in the first degree, theft in the first degree, criminal trespass in the first degree, and providing false information to a police officer.
The Eagle Point Police Department encourages anyone with additional information to contact them at 541-826-9171, contributing to the ongoing efforts to ensure community safety.

All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
