The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) says for travels to expect heavy snow and low visibility today at high elevation today.
The I5 Siskiyou Summit south of Ashland will have a tire chains requirement most of today.
Expect similar conditions in high Cascades area highways of OR62, OR230, and OR140 Lake of the Woods.
Officials recommend motorists delay travel today or prepare for a slow, careful trip.
