CANYONVILLE, Ore. (Apr. 3, 2026) — A 25-year-old Salem woman died Thursday evening after a single-vehicle crash along Interstate 5 near Canyonville, according to the Oregon State Police.

Steeley was pronounced dead at the scene.
The highway was not impacted during the on-scene investigation, authorities said.
Oregon State Police were assisted by the South Umpqua Fire Department, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and the Oregon Department of Transportation.
The crash remains under investigation.
