MEDFORD, Ore. (May. 29, 2026) — Rogue Community College Vice President Jamee Harrington has been selected to serve a three-year term on the national board of directors for the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources, a higher education organization that supports human resources professionals and institutional leaders across the United States.
The appointment begins July 1 and places Harrington among the governing leaders of an association representing more than 23,000 human resources professionals and higher education administrators at more than 1,700 member institutions in the United States and abroad.
Harrington serves as Rogue Community College’s vice president of People, Culture and Safety, chief human resources officer and chief of staff. College officials said her selection reflects years of leadership and involvement within CUPA-HR at both the regional and national levels.
Most recently, Harrington completed a three-year term on the association’s Western Region Board of Directors, where she served as chair-elect during the 2024-25 term. She has also contributed to several national initiatives, including service on the Public Policy Committee and the Creating Inclusive Communities Committee.
In addition, Harrington currently serves as a navigator in the CUPA-HR Navigators program, mentoring chief human resources officers from colleges and universities across the country. She also participated in the organization’s Emerging CUPA-HR Leaders program during the 2021-22 academic year.
“Jamee is an outstanding higher education leader. We are so fortunate that she will join the board of directors,” said Andy Brantley, president and chief executive officer of CUPA-HR.
Harrington said she is honored to represent both Rogue Community College and the nation’s community colleges through her appointment to the board.
“Community colleges play a vital role in expanding access, supporting students and employees, and strengthening our communities,” Harrington said. “I’m excited to contribute that perspective in this role.”
CUPA-HR provides professional development, salary and workforce data, advocacy, regulatory guidance and other resources to higher education institutions. The organization focuses on advancing workforce excellence and supporting the human resources needs of colleges and universities nationwide.
Harrington’s appointment gives Rogue Community College a voice in national conversations surrounding higher education workforce development, leadership and human resources policy.
