Multi-Agency Response Leads to Arrest in Phoenix Domestic Violence Case

PHOENIX, Ore. (May. 24, 2026) — A 23-year-old woman was arrested Saturday morning following a domestic violence incident involving a firearm at a residence in north Phoenix, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

Police said officers were dispatched at about 10:38 a.m. May 23 after receiving a frantic call reporting that a woman was attempting to shoot another woman at a residence in the area. Multiple officers responded, including assistance from the Talent Police Department.

When officers arrived, investigators determined the male victim and female suspect had gone into a secondary residence on the property, and officers did not know where the firearm was located, police said.

The first officers on scene were able to call the occupants out of the residence and detain them without incident.

According to investigators, the suspect allegedly arrived at the residence, unlawfully entered the main home and took a firearm belonging to the victim before entering a secondary residence where the male victim had been sleeping.

Police said the woman pointed the firearm at the victim and threatened to kill two other women who were also at the property.

During the investigation, officers located the firearm after it had initially been hidden from law enforcement, authorities said.

The woman was arrested on two counts of first-degree burglary and one count of menacing with a firearm connected to a domestic violence allegation.

Police said the investigation remains ongoing and no additional information was immediately available.
