Eagle Point, Oregon- The Eagle Point Police Department (EPPD) has introduced a new graphic design for its patrol vehicles, featuring contributions from students at Eagle Point High School (EPHS). As part of the department’s initiative, two students, Emilio Salas-Escalante and Natalie Hill, were invited to contribute their design ideas for the School Resource Officer (SRO) vehicle.
The students’ designs were integrated into the overall graphic layout, each incorporating elements of the EPHS mascot. These additions provide a creative and personal touch to the patrol vehicle, reflecting the collaborative effort between the school and the police department.
SRO Marc Slagle coordinated with school staff to facilitate the students’ involvement in the project. The final design was completed by Wrap-it Up Graphics, which helped bring the students’ contributions to life on the vehicle.
The Eagle Point Police Department expressed its gratitude to the students and school staff who contributed to the project. In a statement, the department highlighted its ongoing partnership with the local school district, noting that projects like these strengthen community ties. EPPD says they believe the new design successfully enhances the appearance of the patrol vehicle while fostering a sense of shared pride.
