In a statement released to Medford Alert by the company, they emphasized the process of the decision, stating, “The decision to close a store is never one we take lightly.” The closure reflects a strategic assessment of various criteria aimed at ensuring optimal operations across the Cracker Barrel network.
The company says as part of their commitment to their employees, Cracker Barrel is focused on assisting impacted staff during this transition period. They did not provide any details regarding how many employees are impacted. The company expressed gratitude to the team members who contributed to the Medford location’s success. “We extend our sincere thanks to our employees who worked so hard to keep our fireplace glowing,” the statement reads.
