Fatal Single Vehicle Crash in White City Under Investigation

White City, Oregon– The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) and Fire District 3 rushed to the scene of a single-vehicle crash in White City this afternoon. The incident unfolded near the intersection of Avenue A and Atlantic Ave at approximately 1:49 p.m.

Tragically, the driver was pronounced deceased on site. Authorities report they have informed the next of kin. At this time, the name of the deceased is being withheld.

JCSO deputies, alongside Medical Examiner detectives, are piecing together the events surrounding the crash. Preliminary findings suggest that a Toyota Tacoma was traveling at high speed along the 4000 block of Avenue A. The vehicle collided with a parked semi-truck and a power pole before erupting into flames.
