The Central Point Police Department is inviting the public to join them at the Twin Creeks Crossing Park in Central Point on August 6, 2022 for the annual D.A.R.E. to Cruise event.
This year’s Show and Shine is from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the Twin Creeks Crossing Park and the Cruise is from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. on East Pine Street.
This event will include two awards:
People’s Choice Award
Central Point Police Chief’s Choice Award.
CPPD says all vehicles are welcome to this event. All proceeds help support the Central Point Police Department’s D.A.R.E. Program which teaches local fifth graders the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse.
Police remind those taking part that: TRAFFIC RULES WILL BE ENFORCED. BURN-OUTS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. All pop-ups and canopies have to be staked to the ground as well.
