Amber Alert Issued After Double Homicide and Kidnapping

West Richland, Washington– Law enforcement authorities have issued an Amber Alert spanning Washington state and Oregon following a disturbing incident involving the suspected killing of two women and the abduction of a 1-year-old boy.

Police reports indicate that Elias Huizar allegedly murdered his ex-girlfriend outside William Wiley Elementary School in West Richland, Washington, on Monday. Subsequently, a second woman’s body was discovered at Huizar’s residence during a search conducted by West Richland Police, as reported by FOX 13 Seattle.

Elias Huizar, a former Yakima police officer, is now considered armed and dangerous, with law enforcement expressing concerns that he may engage in further violent acts. Investigators believe Huizar may be attempting to flee to Mexico and are actively seeking him.

The suspect, aged 39, stands at 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He is believed to be driving a 2009 silver Toyota Corolla bearing the license plate CBZ-745.

The abducted child, Roman Huizar, is described as 2 feet 6 inches tall and 25 pounds, also with brown hair and brown eyes.

Authorities urge anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Elias Huizar or the missing child, Roman Huizar, to contact 911 immediately.


All suspects are believed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law
