Jackson County Man Sentenced to 15 Years in Prison for Child Sexual Abuse

MEDFORD, Ore. (Apr. 17, 2026) — A Medford area man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to multiple charges related to the sexual abuse of minors, prosecutors said.

The Jackson County District Attorney’s Office announced that Anthony Grant, 39, pleaded guilty April 8 to two counts of first-degree sexual abuse and one count of second-degree sodomy.

Jackson County Circuit Court Judge Pro Tem Paul Moser imposed the 15-year sentence as part of a negotiated plea agreement. The sentence falls under Oregon Measure 11, requiring it to be served day-for-day without the possibility of early release.

Upon completing his prison term, Grant will be required to register as a sex offender and will serve approximately four years of post-prison supervision.

The charges stem from three incidents reported to the Medford Police Department involving the sexual abuse of three minors. Authorities declined to release additional details to protect the identities of the victims.

Prosecutors credited the victims for coming forward and assisting in the case. They also acknowledged the investigative work of the Medford Police Department and the Jackson County Children’s Advocacy Center.

The case was prosecuted by Senior Deputy District Attorney Lucy Durst.
