Medford to Host Town Halls on Parks, Streets and Public Safety

MEDFORD, Ore. (Apr. 7, 2026) — Medford residents will have two opportunities this spring to engage directly with city leaders during a pair of town halls focused on parks, streets and public safety, city officials announced.

The events are intended to give community members a forum to hear updates on current and future projects, ask questions and discuss issues affecting the city.

The first town hall, hosted by Ward 1 and Ward 3 councilors along with the mayor, is scheduled for Thursday, April 23, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at North Medford High School’s cafeteria, located at 1900 N. Keene Way.

A second session, hosted by Ward 2 and Ward 4 councilors and the mayor, will take place Thursday, May 21, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Prescott Room at Medford Police Headquarters, 219 S. Ivy St.

Each event will begin with a community meet-and-greet at 5:30 p.m., followed by a panel discussion and moderated question-and-answer session starting at 6 p.m.

City officials said the town halls are designed to address the evolving needs of the community. Previous forums have included discussions on topics such as emergency preparedness, homelessness, transportation projects and housing initiatives.

Residents are encouraged to attend either session. Recordings of both town halls will be made available online for those unable to participate in person.
