Extended Closure Possible After Crash at I-5 Exit 33 in Central Point

CENTRAL POINT, Ore. (Jan. 21, 2026) — The northbound on-ramp to Interstate 5 at Exit 33 in Central Point was closed Wednesday evening due to a crash, authorities said.

Officials warned the closure could be extended and urged motorists to follow posted detours or use alternate routes. Drivers were also advised to use caution and watch for emergency crews working in the roadway.

No additional details about the crash or possible injuries were immediately available.
