Authorities Serve Central Point Warrant in Child Exploitation Case

CENTRAL POINT, Ore. (Dec 3, 2025) — A multi-agency child exploitation task force served a search warrant Tuesday morning at a rural Central Point residence after investigators traced uploaded child sexual abuse material to the address, authorities said.

The Southern Oregon Child Exploitation Team (SOCET), working alongside the Oregon Department of Justice’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, executed the warrant at a mobile home park in the 300 block of West Gregory Road. The Dec. 2 operation followed a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, which prompted subpoenas and ultimately the search warrant, officials said.

Investigators interviewed witnesses and individuals associated with the residence. Digital devices were seized and will undergo forensic examination by the Southern Oregon High Tech Crimes Task Force to determine whether additional evidence of child exploitation exists.

SOCET, formed in 2020, is a joint task force made up of investigators from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Medford Police Department, ODOJ’s ICAC unit and Homeland Security Investigations. Prosecutors from local, state and federal agencies in Jackson and Josephine counties also work with the team. The High Tech Crimes Task Force includes investigators from JCSO, HSI and Medford Police.

Authorities said the investigation remains active as detectives continue reviewing digital evidence and conducting interviews. No further details have been released.
