Medford Seeks Public Input on Parks and Recreation Future

The City of Medford is calling upon its residents to participate in shaping the future of its parks and recreation services. In a bid to enhance community engagement and ensure a comprehensive approach, the city has initiated the Parks and Recreation Strategic Plan.

Residents are encouraged to share their thoughts and ideas through a detailed survey, which aims to identify systemwide needs, specific improvements, and future investments for Medford’s parks, facilities, trails, and recreation programs.

The input gathered from the survey will play a pivotal role in creating a shared community vision that reflects the diverse needs and interests of Medford’s residents. By participating, individuals contribute directly to the development of a park and recreation system that caters to the entire community.

In addition to the survey, residents are invited to attend the Parks and Recreation Strategic Plan Open House Event on Sunday, April 21, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Rogue X. This event offers an opportunity to engage directly with city officials, gain insights into the planning process, and share visions for the future of Medford’s parks and recreation services.

The City of Medford says the goal is to build a vibrant and inclusive park and recreation system that enriches the lives of all its residents. Residents are encouraged to share their thoughts and be an integral part of shaping tomorrow.
