Medford, Oregon- The festival, a cornerstone of the community, featured a variety of events, including the Street Fair, Smudge Pot Stroll, and the renowned Pear Blossom Parade.
Originally starting with 20 wagons and young participants, the Pear Blossom Parade has evolved significantly, now boasting 150 entries with over 4000 participants and drawing in 25,000 to 30,000 spectators along the parade route. Since its inception, the festival has emphasized family values, community commitment, and pride in the Rogue Valley. This year’s parade will kick off at 11am, on Saturday.
The Pear Blossom Parade, which has been cherished by parade lovers since 1954, has grown to become Southern Oregon’s largest annual parade.

One of the festival’s hallmarks is the awarding of scholarships for area high school senior girls, a tradition upheld by the Festival Association since 1991.
The Street Fair, held on April 12th and 13th in Downtown Medford, offered a range of activities and attractions for attendees of all ages. From noon to 10 pm on Friday and 7 am to 6 pm on Saturday, the fair featured food, games, arts, crafts, and entertainment, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy.
