White City Youth Help Clean-Up Trash and Graffiti in Community

White City, Oregon– Last Monday, deputies from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) White City Community Action Team joined forces with local community partners, non-profits, businesses, and young volunteers to tackle graffiti and trash in White City.

The collaborative effort is part of White Mountain Middle School’s Project G.R.A.C.E. (Graffiti Removal Achieving Community Empowerment).

Project G.R.A.C.E. aims to conduct regular clean-up activities to uphold the cleanliness and safety of the White City community. Supported by the Jackson County District Attorney’s Office, Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Community Justice, local police agencies, non-profits, and businesses, the initiative is focused on combating the increasing prevalence of graffiti.Recognizing the importance of proactive measures, Project G.R.A.C.E. underscores the need to eliminate existing graffiti, prevent its recurrence, and uphold the overall well-being of neighborhood environments.
