Grants Pass, Oregon– On the night of March 10th, Josephine County 911 received an emergency call reporting a residential structure fire in the 600 block of Timber Ridge Road. The incident, occurred at approximately 11:11 P.M. and prompted a large response from rescue personnel.
Upon arrival at the scene, responders discovered a deceased adult inside the engulfed residence. The identity of the individual has yet to be disclosed pending notification of their next of kin.
In light of the fatality, the State Fire Marshal’s Office has initiated an investigation into the cause of the fire. Investigators are working to uncover the circumstances surrounding the tragic event and to provide closure to the affected family members.
