Medford Police Investigating Shooting Near North High School

North Medford High School has activated “Secure” protocols after reports of shots fired near the Grandview Garden Apartments around 10:45a this morning, located on the northwest corner of Roberts Road and North Keene Way Drive. The incident has prompted heightened security measures at the school, with locked doors restricting access in and out.

This security measure involves the temporary lockdown of external access points, restricting entry and exit. Despite these precautions, it has been reported that normal school activities and operations are continuing without disruption.

Medford Police shared information on the incident via a social media post, detailing the alleged gunfire near the residential area close to the high school. Authorities are actively investigating in the Roberts Road and N. Keene Way area.

There is believed to be at least one gunshot victim that first responders were assisting on scene.

Authorities are urging residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the Medford Police.
