In a significant development related to the shooting incident on S Kerby Avenue that took place on November 19, 2023, authorities have arrested 21-year-old Jessy J Forrest, a resident of Cave Junction. Deputies from the Josephine County Sheriff’s Office apprehended Forrest at 12:28 PM today following their pursuit of a vehicle linked to the case.
Forrest faces serious charges in connection with the incident:
- Attempted Murder
- Assault I
- Unlawful Use of a Weapon
The arrest comes after meticulous investigative efforts by the Sheriff’s Office Deputies, who located the suspect’s vehicle. Jessy J Forrest has been lodged at the Josephine County Jail pending further legal proceedings.
