The Rogue Eagles Club, the second largest RC Airplane club in Oregon, announced the return of their highly anticipated annual Air Show. Taking place at Agate Skyways in Eagle Point on July 8 and 9, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, this year’s event promises to showcase “The Wonder Of Flight.”

Enthusiasts and spectators alike can look forward to a spectacular display of radio control aircraft, featuring a wide range of types and sizes. From turbine jets and helicopters to biplanes, rockets, and historical aircraft, the air show will demonstrate various aerobatic maneuvers, combat simulations, and scale flying.
The Rogue Eagles say they aim to create an engaging experience for attendees by bringing them closer to the action. Visitors will have ample opportunities to interact with the talented operators and get up close to the remarkable aircraft. Moreover, they can even try their hand at flying an RC plane with the guidance of expert instructors.
Admission to the air show is set at $5 for adults or $10 per car, while children can enjoy free entry. All proceeds from the event will be donated locally to the Children’s Miracle Network (CMN). The Rogue Eagles remark they have historically donated over $27,000 to CMN from their previous air shows.
Several amenities are available at Agate Skyways, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for attendees. Free parking is provided, and covered bleachers offer seating for optimal viewing. Restrooms are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness throughout the event.
For those looking to satisfy their hunger and thirst, Toasted Cheese and Kona-Ice will be on-site, selling refreshments on Saturday. On Sunday, Toasted Cheese will also offer delicious food options. Additionally, raffles will be held both days, featuring fabulous planes and gear suitable for beginners and experienced hobbyists. It’s important to note that participants in the raffle do not need to be present to win.
Agate Skyways is located at 888 E. Antelope Road in Eagle Point. To get there, simply head east on OR140, go past Stone Ridge Golf Course, and turn right on E. Antelope. After about a mile, take the right turn at the Agate Lake and JCFD3 fire station junction.
