Jackson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) wants to remind travelers to drive safe. These are just a few photos from the numerous weather-related crashes JCSO has responded to in the past few days. Please use caution when driving in these wintery conditions, especially in higher elevations.
Winter driving conditions are still being reported throughout southwest Oregon, especially when driving out of the western valleys.
Chains should be carried and drivers should be prepared to install them if traveling over most of the mountain passes, including the I5 corridor.
