This is an update to yesterdays article regarding a shooting that took place in the Ruch area.
The suspect in yesterday’s shooting was lodged in the Jackson County Jail last night.
The suspect, Cassie Lyn Ryker, 74, of Ruch, has been charged with attempted murder, first-degree assault, and unlawful use of a weapon.
Authorities say this case is still active and ongoing with detectives following additional leads.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department released the above video of the crime scene.
Authorities say no additional information will be released by JCSO officials at this time.
All suspects are considered innocent until any/all charges are proven true against them in a court of law. Suspects age has been corrected to 74 from 70.
