The City of Medford is partnering with ACCESS to open and operate a cooling shelter. The cooling shelter will be located at the former Kelly Shelter (324 West 6th Street) and will be open from 12 – 8 p.m.

The cooling shelter will provide water, restrooms, snacks, and cooling area and water for pets. Individuals may come and go.

ACCESS says they are always looking for volunteers. Anyone interested in volunteering or have resources to contribute should email volunteer@accesshelps.org for more information.
