Crash Closes Both Directions of OR-140 East of OR-62

WHITE CITY, Ore. (May. 19, 2026) — A crash has closed both directions of Oregon Highway 140 about 8 miles east of the intersection with Crater Lake Highway 62, according to state transportation officials.

The closure is in effect near milepost 8.45 on OR-140. Officials said all eastbound and westbound lanes are blocked because of the crash, and motorists are being advised to use an alternate route.

No information about injuries, the number of vehicles involved, or an estimated reopening time was immediately available.

Travelers in the area are urged to avoid the highway until the scene is cleared and the roadway reopens.
