Missing Elder Notice Issued for Ashland Woman Last Seen Saturday

ASHLAND, Ore. (Apr. 13, 2026) — Police in Ashland have issued a missing elder notice for a woman with dementia who was last seen over the weekend.

The Ashland Police Department said Sue Valentine was last seen at approximately noon on Saturday, April 11, at her apartment in the Mountain Meadows community off North Mountain Avenue.

Valentine is described as 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds, with gray hair and hazel eyes. Authorities said it is unknown what she was wearing when she was last seen.

Police noted that Valentine has been diagnosed with dementia and typically remains close to her home, raising concern for her safety.

Anyone who sees Valentine or has information about her whereabouts is urged to contact the Ashland Police Department or Officer Vela at 541-776-7208.


The Ashland Police Department released the following update: FOUND! Ms. Valentine was found alive and well and has been returned safely to her family. Thanks to the coordinated efforts of Ashland Police Dept, Jackson County Sheriffs Search & Rescue, Ashland CERT Volunteers and all of Ashland who showed up to help in this effort.
