MEDFORD, Ore. (Mar. 19, 2026) — A crash has forced the closure of a section of Oregon Route 99 between Medford and Central Point, transportation officials said.
According to the Oregon Department of Transportation, the highway—also known as Rogue Valley Highway—is closed near milepost 4.03 at Mace Road.
Officials have not released details about the cause of the crash or whether there are any injuries.
Motorists are advised to use alternate routes and should expect delays in the area. Travelers are also urged to use caution as emergency crews respond to the scene.
No estimated time has been provided for when the roadway will reopen.
UPDATE: All lanes are now open.
