
MEDFORD, Ore. (Nov. 21, 2025) — A northbound crash on Interstate 5 is causing significant delays south of Exit 30 Friday afternoon, according to a traffic alert issued around 4:30 p.m.
The crash, located near milepost 30, has slowed traffic to the point that congestion is now backing up onto the Medford Viaduct as of 4:40 p.m. Officials are urging drivers to expect delays, consider alternate routes, and use caution while traveling through the area. Motorists are also advised to watch for crews working in the roadway as responders address the scene.

4:46P UPDATE: Northbound on-ramps are now being indicted at Exit 27 in South Medford. Use northbound OR-99 as detour if possible.
