Medford Police Arrest Suspect in Armed Carjacking Near Riverside and McAndrews

MEDFORD, Ore (Nov 20, 2025). — Medford Police are actively searching for a suspect involved in an armed carjacking reported Thursday near the intersection of Riverside Avenue and McAndrews Road.

Authorities said the incident occurred shortly before officers were alerted to a man fleeing the area on foot. The suspect was last seen heading eastbound on McAndrews from the intersection.

Police described the suspect as a white man in his 20s with brown or dark long hair. He was reportedly wearing a white hoodie and baggy gray jeans, and was carrying or wearing a satchel. Investigators said he was armed with a handgun and may have visible scabs or pock marks.

Medford Police urged the public not to approach anyone matching the description. Anyone with information or who spots a possible match is asked to call 911 or the non-emergency line at 541-776-7206.
