Homicide Investigation Underway at Wilson Elementary School

Medford, Oregon- Police in Medford have launched a homicide investigation after a man was found dead early Sunday morning in the parking lot of Wilson Elementary School.

Officers were dispatched to the scene around 6:30 a.m., where they discovered the body of a deceased male. Detectives later confirmed the case is being treated as a homicide.

According to investigators, surveillance footage shows the incident took place several hours prior to the discovery. Authorities are now working to gather additional video evidence to help identify the suspect or suspects involved, as well as any associated vehicles.

Police said there is currently no known threat to the public or the school community.
