Medford, Oregon- Pavement maintenance work will close Sage Road to through traffic this Sunday, June 1, from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to Jackson County Roads officials.
The closure will affect the stretch of Sage Road between Highway 99 and Highway 238. While local businesses will still have access, all other traffic will be prohibited during the project window.
“This work is important to maintaining the pavement on this busy, heavily travelled roadway,” said Steve Lambert, Jackson County Roads and Parks Director. “In an effort to minimize impacts to businesses and the public, we are performing the repairs on a Sunday, when traffic is at the least amount. This also provides a much safer work zone for our team performing the work.”
Travelers are advised to avoid Sage Road and seek alternate routes for the duration of the closure.
