Grants Pass Woman Arrested After Allegedly Stabbing Her Husband

Grants Pass, Oregon– A Grants Pass woman was arrested Tuesday in connection with the stabbing of her husband, that occurred on East Park Street, according to the Grants Pass Police Department.

At approximately 2:18 p.m. on April 8, officers responded to the 1400 block of East Park Street for a reported assault. Upon arrival, police found an adult male who had been stabbed. The suspect, identified as 39-year-old Allison Jenkins, had left the scene before officers arrived.

The victim was transported to Three Rivers Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening and received medical treatment.

Grants Pass Police located Jenkins near the south end of Morrison Park, where she was taken into custody. Due to the nature of the incident, the case was referred to the department’s Major Crimes Unit for further investigation.

Jenkins was lodged at the Josephine County Jail on charges of Robbery in the Second Degree and Assault in the Second Degree.

No further information was released by officials at this time.
