Medford, Oregon- Crater Lake Highway (OR-62) is currently closed southbound at Justice Road following a serious motor vehicle accident. Northbound traffic is limited to a single lane, and the duration of the closure remains unknown at this time.
Emergency responders from the Medford Police Department, Medford Fire Department, and Jackson County Fire District 3 are on scene. The Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction (STAR) team has been activated to investigate the cause of the crash.
Officials are urging drivers to avoid the area and use alternate routes until further notice.
