Ashland, Oregon- Congestion in the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 at milepost 14 is causing significant delays in the Ashland area. This backup is limiting access to the Exit 14 off-ramp, affecting travel plans for motorists.
Travelers who need to reach Ashland are advised to use alternative exits. Exits 19 and 21 provide access to Oregon Route 99, which can be used as a bypass to reach the destination.
This detour is suitable for local traffic only. It is not designed to serve as an alternate route for trucks attempting to avoid congestion on Interstate 5. Truck drivers should continue to use Interstate 5 or seek other approved routes.
