ODOT Issues Conditional Closure on I-5 Over Siskiyou Pass

Near Ashland, Oregon- A conditional closure has been implemented on Interstate 5 between mileposts 1 and 11 over the Siskiyou Pass, impacting both northbound and southbound traffic.

The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) issued the advisory due to potentially hazardous conditions along the key mountain corridor. Motorists are advised to expect delays.

UPDATE: I-5 over the Siskiyou Pass is back open northbound and southbound. Winter conditions remain. Chains are required. As a reminder, don’t stop in the roadway, especially in the fast lane, to put on chains. Pull over as far as safely possible to avoid blocking the road for through traffic
