Ashland Man Arrested During Task-Force Child Exploitation Investigation

Ashland, Oregon- On January 14, 2025, at approximately 7:30 a.m., a coordinated operation by multiple law enforcement agencies led to the execution of a search warrant on Alida Street in Ashland.

The effort involved the Ashland Police Department, Medford Police Department, Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Talent Police Department, Jackson County District Attorney’s Office, Homeland Security, the Oregon Department of Justice, and the Southern Oregon High Tech Crimes Task Force.

The operation is part of an ongoing investigation into child exploitation and internet crimes against children. Authorities arrested a 21-year-old Ashland resident, on two outstanding warrants. He was taken into custody and lodged at the Jackson County Jail.

Law enforcement agencies have not released further details about the investigation, citing its ongoing nature. Additional information is expected to be disclosed as the case progresses.

This joint action highlights the commitment of local, state, and federal agencies to address child exploitation and protect vulnerable populations.
