

Medford, Oregon– A serious two-vehicle collision led to the temporary closure of the McAndrews Overpass early Saturday morning. The incident occurred between Court Street and Sage Road, prompting emergency crews to respond.
According to officials, road conditions are believed to have contributed to the crash. Medford Fire Department personnel extricated two individuals from one of the vehicles involved. In total, four people were transported to a Medford are hospital with injuries ranging from minor to serious.
The overpass was closed for approximately three hours as emergency responders worked to treat the injured and investigate the scene.
Medford Police, Jackson County Sheriff’s, Jacksonville Police, Medford Fire, Jackson County Fire District 3, and Mercy Flights all responded to the incident.
The overpass has since reopened, but officials remind the public to exercise caution while driving.
“Thank you to everyone for your patience and cooperation,” officials said in a statement. “Please drive safely.”
