
Prospect, Oregon- The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) and Search and Rescue (SAR) teams are currently conducting a search for a missing woman in the Prospect area. April Larson, 41, was last seen early Sunday morning, October 20, around 1:00 AM.
Larson, described as a white woman standing 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 120 pounds, has distinctive purple and blue dyed hair and brown eyes. She was last observed walking near 1st Street in Prospect, carrying a flashlight. Larson was reportedly wearing dark clothing and blue shoes at the time.
According to authorities, Larson was visiting the area with a friend and does not have known contacts in the community. The sheriff’s office is asking for any information from the public that could assist in locating her.
Anyone with information on Larson’s whereabouts is urged to contact ECSO dispatch at (541) 776-7206, referencing case number 24-5775.
UPDATE: JCSO officials state April has been located safe in Washington and is no longer considered missing. No additional details were released at this time.
