Medford, Oregon- The Old Spaghetti Factory (OSF) is set to open a new location in Medford, at 147 N. Front Street, taking over the former site of Porters.
Medford Alert first reported on the development, and additional details have now been confirmed following a Q&A with company spokesperson Kim Davidson.
According to OSF, the building purchase has been completed, and the company plans to establish a long-term presence at the location. The new restaurant is expected to open in late spring or early summer of 2025.
When asked about staffing, OSF’s spokesperson estimated that approximately 100 employees will be hired once the restaurant is operational. However, the exact size of the crew for the build-out phase is not yet clear. The project will involve significant kitchen renovations, with an estimated investment of over $1 million.
While the company declined to provide a detailed budget for the project, Davidson emphasized their commitment to the Medford community. “The Old Spaghetti Factory is looking forward to becoming a fixture in the Medford community. Since our opening in 1969, we have been family-owned and operated. We offer affordable, family-friendly dining in a unique, beautiful atmosphere.”
With the planned opening, OSF says it will bring its signature Italian-American cuisine to downtown Medford, continuing the brand’s long-standing tradition of providing a welcoming dining experience.
