Grants Pass, Oregon- The Grants Pass Police Department is actively searching for Michael Schaeffer, a missing person last seen on August 23, 2024. Schaeffer, who is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 185 pounds, was last observed in the vicinity of SW Oak and SW Rogue River Avenue at approximately 4:30 p.m.
Schaeffer was last seen wearing a red t-shirt, a black hat with writing, and jeans. He is noted to walk with a limp, which may help in identifying him.
Authorities are urging anyone who may have seen Schaeffer or has information regarding his whereabouts to contact the Grants Pass Police Department immediately at 541-450-6260. The department is prioritizing this case and appreciates any assistance from the public in locating Schaeffer.
