Gold Hill, Oregon- The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) announced the arrest of a local private basketball coach on charges related to inappropriate contact with an underage child. The suspect, identified as Geordan Victor Sanchez Edmond, 29, of Gold Hill, was taken into custody yesterday, August 12. He is charged with one count of luring a minor and is currently being held in the Jackson County Jail.
According to JCSO detectives, Edmond has been offering private basketball lessons to children in the local area for several years. Authorities are concerned that there may be additional victims.
