Medford, Oregon- On Sunday evening, multiple fire crews responded to a second alarm structure fire at the Minute Market on Oakdale Avenue. Upon arrival, firefighters observed flames coming through the roof and down one side of the building.
The fire appears to have originated near the rear of the market. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported among civilians or firefighters. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
Crews will remain on the scene to perform overhaul operations. Authorities have requested the public to avoid the area as Oakdale Avenue is shut down.
The response was supported by Jackson County Fire District 3 and the Jacksonville Fire Department.
