
Grants Pass, Oregon– The Grants Pass Police Department has arrested 28-year-old Michael Anthony Lee, in connection with multiple incidents of sexual abuse at a local nursing home. The arrest follows an investigation by the Grants Pass Police Major Crimes Unit, which began after a report of sex abuse involving a patient and an employee was received on June 16, 2024.
Detectives, with the cooperation of the nursing home management, identified Lee as the suspect. Lee, who stands 6 feet tall, weighs approximately 220 pounds, and has red hair and green eyes, has worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in both Grants Pass and Medford over the past three years.
The investigation revealed that Lee allegedly targeted elderly victims, both male and female, for sexual assault. Authorities believe there may be additional unidentified victims.
On June 20, 2024, Grants Pass Police detectives apprehended Lee at his most recent place of employment in Grants Pass. He has been lodged at the Josephine County Jail and faces charges including two counts of Sex Abuse in the 1st Degree and two counts of Attempted Sex Abuse in the 1st Degree.
The Grants Pass Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying any additional victims. The department emphasizes its commitment to thoroughly investigating all reports of sexual abuse.
