

Josephine County, Oregon- Emergency response teams from multiple agencies were dispatched to the intersection of Arrowhead Drive and Dwight Creek Road on the Redwood Highway in Southern Oregon. The Illinois Valley Fire District, AMR-Josephine County, Oregon State Police, and the Oregon Department of Transportation responded to reports of a single-vehicle rollover with entrapment.
Upon arrival, responders encountered an overturned U-Haul moving van requiring heavy extrication. Jerry’s Towing was immediately dispatched to stabilize the vehicle, while additional manpower and extrication tools were requested from Rural Metro Fire – Josephine County.
Efforts to extricate the trapped individual from the wreckage were successful, and the victim was transported to the airport by AMR. From there, the individual was transferred to Reach Air Ambulance for transport to a trauma center due to their injuries.
Currently, Oregon State Police are conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident. Further details regarding the cause and any potential charges are pending the outcome of the investigation.
