City of Medford and Jackson County to Conduct Citizen Alert Test

Medford, Oregon– The City of Medford, in collaboration with Jackson County Emergency Management, will be conducting a Citizen Alert test for each evacuation zone on Tuesday, May 14, at 10:00 AM.

Residents who have registered for Citizen Alert will receive a test notification on the specified date. This notification will include details about the specific evacuation zone relevant to each registered user, based on the information provided during sign-up for Citizen Alert.

For those who have questions about Citizen Alert or did not receive a test notification on May 14, assistance will be available. Residents can contact the City at 541-774-2320 or email citizenalert@cityofmedford.org for support with their Citizen Alert account.

The City strongly encourages all residents to sign up for Citizen Alert. If you are already registered, please ensure that your information is up-to-date. Key details to note about the upcoming test:

The test will only reach individuals who are currently signed up for Citizen Alert within Medford evacuation zones.
Test alerts will specify the evacuation zone that individuals have identified during sign-up.
Users can specify up to five addresses (home, work, school, etc.) for notifications.
Those who have added multiple addresses will receive multiple notifications.
Residents are advised to review and update their information in Citizen Alert before the May 14 test.
