RCC Offering Massage Therapy Programs in Jackson and Josephine Counties

Medford, Oregon- Aspiring massage therapists in Jackson and Josephine counties are invited to explore their career options with Rogue Community College’s (RCC) Massage Therapy program. The program is hosting informational meetings to provide insights into the curriculum, career paths, and application process.

The meetings will take place at RCC’s Redwood Campus, located at 3345 Redwood Highway in Grants Pass, inside Building K, Room 102. Prospective students have two opportunities to attend:

  • Thursday, April 18 from 5:30-7 p.m.
  • Thursday, May 9 from 5:30-7 p.m.

Massage Therapy is a sought-after field, and RCC remarks their program offers comprehensive training to equip students with the skills necessary for success. Attendance at one of these meetings, either in person or online, is mandatory for those applying for the spring 2024 semester.

During the sessions, participants will gain valuable insights into local employment opportunities, wage ranges, and the significance of terms such as accredited, one-year certificate, and financial aid eligible. Moreover, the program ensures that students fulfill the training and practicum hours required for both state licensure and national certification.
