Gresham, Oregon- The Gresham Police Department is seeking the public’s help in an ongoing investigation following a recent shooting incident.

On Saturday at approximately 6:15 p.m., officers responded to a call reporting a person shot. The victim, who had been sitting in his car to stay warm and charge his phone during a power outage, was attacked in a carjack robbery. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital.
Officers located the stolen vehicle in a nearby parking lot, abandoned by the suspect after getting stuck in a snow drift. Despite thorough searches, the suspect remains at large. Detectives are urging residents and business owners in the vicinity to check their video cameras for any potential evidence related to the incident.

Additionally, the department collaborates with Crimestoppers of Oregon, offering an option to submit information anonymously through their website at Crimestoppers of Oregon or via their mobile app.
