The Jackson County Roads Department has reported that East Evans Creek Road is closed at mile marker 6, just before Pine Grove Road, due to a downed power line.
At this time there is no estimated time of reopening. Authorities are asking drivers to avoid the area.
Medford Alert will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as they become available.
UPDATE: The road has been reopened and all lanes are clear.
